Wild, Sacred Lands Trust works to permanently expand, protect and steward critical habitats in Africa, Brazil and the US where wildlife is at great risk of extinction by:

  • Assist landowners who wish to conserve their properties and peacefully coexist with wildlife

  • Re-open wildlife corridors by buying up land from developers in critical habitats

  • Establish partnerships with public and private entities who share our goals

  • Fundraise and seek grants to purchase properties with high conservation value, especially those that allow critically endangered species to thrive

  • Develop innovative stewardship programs, talks and courses that help people connect to themselves and the natural world more fully

  • Start a movement and build an active community of “planet forward” stewards who support the trust with their time, energy and resources

Our Mission

Wild, Sacred Lands Trust works throughout the globe, with an emphasis on at-risk habitats and species in Africa, Brazil and the United States, to permanently expand and protect highly productive conversation habitats where endangered wildlife can begin to recover, while connecting people to the natural world.

Our Vision

In addition, working with local peoples to create innovative conservation and protective strategies so their communities thrive in conjunction with the wildlife.
